FAQ’s

  • How far in advance do I need to book?

We suggest a minimum of 6-12 months but we can easily work within a shorter planning time frame. We do recommend paying your 15% deposit as early as possible to secure your date with us. We only take a limited number of weddings each month. After your deposit is paid we can easily sort through changes and revisions to the order details, nothing needs to be firmly set in stone until 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding day.

  • Are some flowers only available during some months of the year?

Yes, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and weather conditions have a significant impact on the availability of flowers. For example, Peonies are only available for a few weeks in mid-Spring (most often late May-early June) but the specific availability often changes from year to year, depending on how cold the winter has been and how wet the early weeks of spring are. We recommend falling in love with a color palette and not specific flowers. This way, no matter the season, we will be able to source flowers that will complement your palete.

  • Do you offer wedding packages?

We offer an A la Carte Wedding Flower Option for super simple ordering. Contact Us for more information about this wonderful option.

  • Do you offer rental items or do I need to supply my own vases?

We do offer a range of rental items – vases, ceremony archway, and various styles of candle holders. If you are looking for a long list of rental items, we recommend partnering with Event Rents or Artifact Rentals.

  • How much do wedding flowers usually cost?

There is a lot of variability when it comes to wedding flower prices. Most of our couples spend between $1,500-$3,000 on their wedding flowers. We suggest 10-15% of your total wedding budget but if you want florals to be a significant component of the experience for the day, we would recommend allocating closer to 25-30% of your total budget to flowers.

  • Where are you located?

Our in-home design studio and flower farm are located in Spokane County. We design flowers for couples getting married in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene, as well as surrounding areas.

  • How do I organize a consultation?

The first step is to submit a Wedding Inquiry Form – we will then confirm whether your date is available. From there, we will send you an online questionnaire as the first phase of our consultation process.

  • I live interstate/overseas. Is that a problem?

No, not at all. We manage all of our communication online – if you’re overseas we can easily coordinate over Zoom or manage everything over email.

  • Do I need a theme or a vision for my day?

No, not at all. We do suggest though that you do a little research about the style and designs you like – everyone’s tastes are different and there are hundreds of options when it comes to wedding flower design. Even one or two inspiration photos can point us all in the right direction. You don’t need to have thought through every detail, that is our job! We’re always happy to provide suggestions and options for ceremony and reception styling ideas as well.

  • Will you deliver flowers on my wedding day?

Absolutely, we will deliver all of your flowers personally. We’ll coordinate the time and location with you during the planning process. For our A la Carte and Bucket of Blooms Weddings, we do allow a pick up option in South Spokane.

  • What are the minimum budgets?

For our Full Service Weddings, we require a $3,000 minimum. A la Carte Weddings require a $1,000 minimum and Bucket of Blooms have a $300 minimum

  • What is the difference between Full Service and A la Carte?

Our full service weddings allow us to be on site designing for you to make everything perfect for your big day. Floral arches, hanging installations, beautiful table garlands, yes, yes and yes!! Do you need tear down at the end of the night? We can do that. Maybe you need your ceremony flowers transitioned to your reception and would like your florist to handle this. These are all services that are provided in Full Service Weddings.

A la Carte weddings are for couples who do not need any on-site designing. Because of this, floral installations, arches, and garlands are not available with A la Carte Weddings.
